David (Ashley Walters) comes roaring out of prison and is dismayed to discover that his old friends, Kojo (Daniel Francis) and Keisha (Lorraine Burroughs), are about to take their credit cards, cool clothes and flat screen telly, move away from the streets they grew up in and start a family far from The Endz.David has no intention of slaving for the minimum wage and, when Kojo is made redundant, quickly embroils his cash-strapped childhood brother in sinister and ill-fated schemes for selling drugs; while pregnant Keisha is kept in the dark. Bola Agbaje's compelling new play hurtles through gender politics, the hole in the heart of consumerism and the crisis of masculinity in a 70 minute swirl of punchy two and three handed scenes on a clean, uncluttered set at the Royal Court. Some friendships don't last into adulthood -- whatever that is -- and you will have to make up your own mind about the happiness of the ending.
